On March 23(Sat), 24(Sun), 30(Sat), 31(Sun), April 6(Sat), and 7(Sun), prior reservations are REQUIRED to enter the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(Prior reservations are NOT REQUIRED to enter the garden from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)

On March 23, 24, 30, 31, April 6, and 7, Shinjuku Gyoen will implement a timed entry reservation system. This system provides reliable entry to the garden during the cherry blossom season. Timed entry reservation tickets or timed entry e-tickets are required to enter the garden from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the above dates. Visitors without the timed entry reservation tickets or timed entry e-tickets will not be permitted to enter the garden.

*No prior reservations are required between March 23 and April 7 EXCEPT for the dates specified above (from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

*Annual pass holders, visitors who are eligible to enter the garden for free (students aged 15 and younger, physical disability certificate holders, intellectual disability certificate holders, mental disability certificate holders, and one caregiver accompanying the certificate holder), parents or guardians with students aged 15 and younger (tour groups are required to make prior reservations), and pregnant women are NOT required to make prior reservations. The aforementioned certificates must be issued pursuant to the laws of Japan or in accordance with a notification issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

*Timed entry reservation tickets for the number of people in your group are required if you wish to take advantage of a group discount. Present all the timed entry reservations tickets at the ticket counter and fill out an application form for groups of 30 or more.

Please note that those who have reserved the timed entry reservation tickets need to present the timed entry reservation tickets and purchase admission tickets at the ticket counter on the day of visit.

Visitors who are required to purchase the timed entry e-ticket:

Visitors who are NOT eligible for discount rates or free admission, do not have an annual pass, and do not wish to purchase an admission ticket at the ticket counter on the day of visit.

Visitors who are required to reserve the timed entry reservation ticket:

Visitors who are eligible for discount rates (students aged 16 years and older (student ID required), seniors aged 65 years and older (valid ID required), and groups of 30 or more) and visitors who wish to purchase an admission ticket or an annual pass at the ticket counter on the day of visit.

Visitors who are not required to purchase the timed entry e-ticket or reserve the timed entry reservation ticket:

Annual pass holders, visitors who are eligible to enter the garden for free, parents or guardians with students aged 15 and younger (tour groups are required to make prior reservations), and pregnant women.

※Those who are planning to purchase an annual pass on the above mentioned specific dates must reserve a timed entry reservation ticket.

Timed Entry E-ticket

This is an electronic ticket that allows you to enter the garden with ease by specifying the time and date of your visit and paying in advance through this website.

Please be sure to purchase this timed entry e-ticket unless you are a senior aged 65 years or older, a student who is eligible for a discount rate, a visitor who are eligible for free admission, an annual pass holder, a parent or guardian of students aged 15 and younger (tour groups are required to make prior reservations), a pregnant woman, or a visitor who has a timed entry reservation ticket and wishes to purchase an admission ticket at the ticket counter on the day of visit.
